GDPR

What is GDPR? : GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) is Europe’s new framework for data protection laws. Brought in May 2018 and replaces the previous 1995 data protection directive and it is to protect peoples’ data and ensure it is handled fairly and responsibly. Enterprises of all sizes now have a responsibility to protect peoples and organisations data. Safeguarding against the misuse of information stored in paper form or digitally is a priority for any company or person. Information is a serious business, as are the fines from the ICO for it’s mishandling.
